Our comprehensive 18 or 20 module curriculum covers everything needed for entry into the medical assisting field, including:

🧪 Hands-On Clinical Training

Students gain practical, skills-based experience in:

  • Infection control and sterilization techniques

  • Vital signs (BP, pulse, respirations, temperature, pulse ox)

  • Patient intake, screenings, and clinical communication

  • EKG procedures (12-lead, cardiac monitoring)

  • Medication administration:

    • Oral

    • Intramuscular (IM)

    • Subcutaneous (SQ)

    • Intradermal

  • Phlebotomy and specimen collection

  • Urinalysis and laboratory testing

    Cynesha Leavell McMurry, RN, is a licensed Registered Nurse with multi-state compact licensure who attended Western Kentucky University and brings extensive clinical and leadership experience.

  • CCMA, CPT Instructor

    Brittany Stewart, CCMA, CPT, is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomy Technician with experience in clinical healthcare, laboratory services, and patient care. She brings hands-on experience in venipuncture, specimen processing, vital sign assessment, electronic health records, and patient support across diverse healthcare settings. Brittany is passionate about healthcare education, patient-centered care, and preparing future healthcare professionals through practical instruction and real-world clinical experience.
