Rooted Health Institute, LLC ("RHI," "we," or "us") respects the privacy of prospective students, enrolled students, parents and guardians, and website visitors. This policy explains the information we collect, how we use and share it, and how we safeguard it.

Information we collect

When you contact us, request program information, apply, enroll, or make a payment, we may collect your name, contact information, date of birth, education history, application and assessment information, enrollment records, and payment-related information. For high school applicants, we may also collect parent or guardian information and consent forms.

Our website uses Squarespace analytics and cookies or similar technologies to understand site activity. This may include visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, device and browser types, and approximate geographic information. The website displays a cookie banner through which visitors can manage the choices available to them.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries; review applications; administer assessments, enrollment, instruction, and student records; coordinate required program activities; process payments; provide support; communicate about our programs; and meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

How we share information

We share information as needed for the purposes described in this policy. The parties involved may include:

• Stripe, to process payments;
• Squarespace and our form and technology providers, to operate our website and receive information you submit;
• Checkr, for background checks and drug screening required for applicable programs;
• NHA, for applicable certification exams; and
• CVS and Parkview, when information is needed to coordinate applicable training or externship activities.

We may also share information with a student's school or parent or guardian, a funding partner, a regulator, or another party when required or authorized for the student's program. Information may be shared through the provider's system, restricted-access accounts, or other appropriate business communication channels.

We do not disclose student information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing without the student's permission.

Payments

Payments may be processed by Stripe. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy practices. RHI does not need to receive your full card number to process a Stripe payment.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to restrict access to the information we maintain and protect student records. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain information as needed for program operations, applicable recordkeeping requirements, and legitimate business purposes, and dispose of it under our recordkeeping practices.

Your choices and questions

You may contact us to request an update to your contact information, ask about our privacy practices, or change your marketing communication preferences. Some student records must be retained under applicable requirements.

We may update this policy as our practices change. The current version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
